Welcome! I've "friended" you, although I'm a novice at this lj business myself. If you go to your user info and look for the "manage" link. Adding friends should be pretty self evident. You just need our user name (mine woujld be macgeorge1).

Wheee!! I (be)friended you, too! Icons are everywhere. You need to go to the top of your info page and put "icons" in the search window. A free account can have 3, and a paid account can have from 12-50, IIRC, depending on what you've paid.

*mwah* Hey, sweetie! Another friending way, go to the tops of our info pages -- if you go to my page here:

elynross, my info page is listed as the link I and my life (http://elynross.livejournal.com/info) (others have other names, or just it's just the link from their LJ name, as with yours, etc. At the top of each info page, there's a four-icon box. The head of the person, with a plus sign, lets you friend people. Just click it, and follow through!
