Easiest back-up EVER. I just got this: http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.tpl.csweb.cm_scid.cswb.item.E05200

if that doesn't work, go to www.qvc.com and search for item E05200. You plug it in to your computer, and it backs up everything on it. You don't have to configer or install anything. The first time takes about an hour, give or take. They say subsequent times are shorter.

In other news, my neighbor is doing one of his very loud parties. *GRRRR* I thought we had an understanding that when he was doing those, he'd let me know. Last time he had one, I ended up going to a hotel so I could sleep. Granted, this one has been going all day, so it may not be a night-time party, too. I just wrote him an e, but he may be too busy to respond. Just, argh.

Can I sick Methos on him?

ETA: Does anyone know anything about marketing a poetry book? Seems as if this is something I am going to need to do on my own, and I haven't got a clue. For example, are their review sites or journals I should be sending review copies to? Or a press release? See? Clueless. Amazon thing still not resolved, nor is their any word on when or even if it might be. I sad.

E again TA: I forgot to mention! I've lost 15 pounds! Kind of sort of by accident but not really -- I found out I have a systemmic candida infection, and 2 months ago, went on a very strict candida diet: no sugars, minimal fruit, no alcohol, no yeast, no flour products (bread, pasta, cereal), no rice or potato, no cheese or other fermented things. Yes to protein, vegetables, yoghurt and... that's pretty much it. The good news is, tummy symptoms are way down, and the weight, and as of the last 4 days, I've gone off my blood pressure meds and have normal bp (I'm measuring every day)!!! Still dealing with some other aspects of the candida, and expect to for quite a while (it was probably in my system for over a year, and got mis-diagnosed and treated wrongly, which led to it becoming very intrenched AND resistent to the usual pharmaceuticals). I've been on this regimen, with herbs and such, for 2 months, and may need at least another 4 to clear this out. But, weight loss! And normal bp!

Hey, congrats on weight loss and health improvement. Nice. Can't help with marketing. You know, Garrison Keillor has a poem every day on The Writer's Almanac. I've sometimes thought that must be at least a small boon for those poets. Every now and then I actually go look a poet up because I'm so taken with the day's poem. Maybe you could send him a book. Just a thought.

Hi!
