For those of you who ordered Mercy on amazon and have not received it yet, my apologies. Something is royally screwed in Denmark.
Baker and Taylor, the distribution company, has told Hanford Mead, my publisher, that yes, the book has been released and is available for amazon and barnes and noble to order. Amazon and B and N, on the other hand, say, no, the B & T site says it's NOT available, which is why they can't fulfil any of their orders. (I don't have a sign-on for the B & T site to check for myself). I've forwarded B and N's response to my publisher (amazon has not responded to me yet, though they told my publisher already that their info is that the book is NOT available).
And... a year ago a psychic told me (before the book had been accepted for publication) that "oh yeah, it will DEFINITELY be published. The real issue will be the marketing and distribution." Unfortunately, she didn't give me anything to tell me how to SOLVE that problem.
