Lovejoy fic sought

Years and many computers ago I read a really lovely Lovejoy fanfic with an original vampire character involving an antique portrait.   I don't recall who the author was or where I might find it again.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, clue me in?  thanks!

I remember the story but only read it in a vampire fanzine - imbecilic idea of cleaning a painting but otherwise very good.

yes, that was the one. hmmm, wonder if it was ever posted online. recalling the name of the author would help. i know she was British -- we corresponded.
