Gaddafi says the French, Brit, and U.S forces are a "Crusader" attack. He has a point.

... Why are the Arab nations not participating in this action? Why does it look like another western/European colonial effort?

Don't get me wrong -- Gaddafi is a deranged tyrant who has to go. And yes, the Arab League endorsed this action, and there is "some" Arab participation. Just... why are these old patterns so persistent?

It started with the 9.0 earthquake...followed by a devastating tsunami. Yet the people of Japan have faced this tragedy with dignity, restraint, & grace.
