birthdays and booms
Woke at a few minutes to 5... apparently to check and see if there was going to be a repeat sonic boom this morning (yesterday's shuttle re-entry => *boom* to the point of literally feeling the bed vibrate).
And a happy birthday to Wickedwords, whose eyes *flashing* at the mention of, shall we say, Methos depicted in a certain light at my very first panel at my very first Escapade -- well, in a way, I was never the same, after. I think I finally saw the actual, literal embodiment of *glee*. Brilliant, kind, gorgeous, and *evil*, in just the right measure. The kind of analytical acumen that turns me on, and the ability to lull the reader right into a magical yet demanding world. Happy birthday, Rache, with cake, chocolate frosting, sprinkles, and, you know, a nice shiny knife to cut it with. *g*
