honey and sting

another dream:

Dreamed about Madonna, about meeting her and thanking her for helping me open to a sex-positive attitude. She's very sweet and we hug. She is with a man -- they are somehow on a journey together. In the dream, was aware of the larger meanings of her name (and there was something about him too, that had a larger meaning, but I don't remember it now), and we smiled about it. She was clearly herself, human, but there was also this other vibration of the Lady and her consort or guide.

Later, I'm in a room full of people, at least 100 people, don't know how many exactly, all standing, and it is the end of some kind of session and we all begin to tone. The idea is to do it on one note (so if we hear other notes we will know they are the harmonics) -- and someone says, "ooh, listen to the harmonics" and I say, "nah, some people are *harmonizing*" -- like, they are cheating. And I sort of tease and chastise them about it.

But then there are just too many people harmonizing, it's contageous, so we give up on listening for the harmonics on one note, and I do some lower harmonies too, and even a funky little riff on it, like what a bass guitar might do. And it's like, we're rolling our eyes about the "compulsive harmonizers", but it's kind of like, oh okay let's go there. It's just too much fun not to.

That was night before last... last night was the *nightmare*. I dreamed I was at Escapade and *missed the vid show!!!!!* Gah! Those of you who read my journal who will be at Escapade next year, promise me you won't let this happen, please? (the horror...)
