more sleep study info -- feel free to skip

I got the written report today.

So, I had an AVERAGE of 17 awakenings per hour, but 45 awakenings per hour during REM sleep.  My blood oxygen got as low as 78%.  I didn't think it could go that low, and have one, you know, be alive.

Also, I had NO deep sleep (aka delta sleep or Stage 4 sleep).  The doctor said this was at least in part an artifact of sleeping in an unfamiliar environment and not really letting go into the deepest sleep stage, but HOLY FUCK people.  I didn't know THAT was possible, either.   The medical implications of this are significant, as stage 4 sleep is when the adrenals replenish.   No adrenal replenishment = > adrenal fatigue = > NO ENERGY.

So yeah, really looking forward to see if the CPAP helps.  *crossing fingers*
