Happy Birthday to Troutkitty!!!

First contact -- she was still living in Japan, writing about Methos. As she put it, it wasn't hurt/comfort, it was more like, hurt, hurt, hurt, hurt, hurt him some more, hurt, hurt (comfort, eh!) fic.

First real life meeting -- my first Escapade. The head spinning at the double take. Could this sweet, polite, bright-eyed YOUNG thing be the woman who wrote such gleefully HHHHHHHH(c, eh!) fic? She was unstintingly *nice*, even by Canadian standards.

First real hanging out with -- she visited New York City. I watched her scribble Krycek stories in a notebook everywhere she went. "New York is the natural habitat of the rat," she declaimed.

Most recent sighting -- World Con in Boston last year. One day, we'll be seeing her on the author panels. *Raising glass in toast*

She's a sweetheart through and through, a staunch friend in times of woe, someone who delights in the success and happiness of her friends. Here's wishing her the very best of birthdays, and all good things ahead -- happiness, health, a long life with her beloved, and a lucrative, sweet book deal. *smoooches Troutkitty*

Hee! pushy Canadians. She keeps at me on my writing, too. Don't know... probably after my trip to New York and Atlanta, taking the Cal psych licensing exam, doing 3 weeks of Trance Camp in San Diego (2 as an assistant, and my one-day poetry workshop in the midst), interviewing for a job, catching up on beading projects I've promised people, and possibly the Missouri poetry workshop I'm giving in September as well. Working on getting published is next after that, I promise! *giggle*
