where da moon?

so, like a kid, i took my sleeping back out to the patio and lay down to watch the moon get eaten up by a space wolf.   and it was cool! and my sleeping bag is really warm!  (this was its inaugural use)

and i saw the moon go to about, oh, 1/3 to almost 1/2 gone.   very cool with the clouds whispily racing across it's face.

and then it got grayer, and grayer...  and then it was just overcast.   where da moon?   so i came inside.

anyone see more of the eclipse than this?

Alas, we were completely overcast. When they informed us on the news a couple nights ago about the eclipse, the news anchor gave a few suggestions of places where the viewing would be good (wrt trees and ambient light). Followed immediately by the weatherman laughing his head off. Uh, no, he said, you'll have to leave the state to get out from under this overcast.

I'm glad you got to see the space wolf, though.
