argh

After working briefly, AIM died on me this evening, refusing to sign on. I defragged, cleaned up disk space, ran a virus check on AIM and my computer, uninstalled AIM, installed a newer version (which didn't work), uninstalled that, and did a system restore. Nada. Anyone got any ideas?

ETA: And then, it worked again. See comment to Lumsockkppuppett, below.

It hates you and you must have your hard drive exorcised.

Can you come to dinner on Friday? Or Saturday morning out and play with us? I can promise you cool bookstores and fun Tiff!

Maybe it's just AIM being awful and not you at all! I was looking for you last night, and I was disappointed that you weren't there. I hope this clears up soon. I have something to show you! :)
