Yes, but, Escapade, soon. It's just a drive up the coast, now. :) First night in Mom's house... up much of night with asthma... I think I got it triggered from the last sweep of the apartment -- lots of dust. Reactivated on the airplane by who knows what, and further helped along by the down pillows in the house *hack, wheeze*. Of course, the asthma meds are in the boxes with the movers, as I need them so seldom it didn't occur to me to bring them in my carry-on *smacking head*. I spent a lot of the night focussing on abdominal breathing, which Sandy says helps the body secrete a bronchodilator. It did help, actually. Mom is looking very worn from months of pain -- I've never seen her look so frail. Despite with, elegant and cute as ever (yes, it is possible to be both). She was wearing a black dress with a black vest over it -- the vest had really interesting toggle fasteners. When I asked how she was feeling, her answer was, "I will feel better soon." She said she doesn't want to "hypnotize" herself by saying anything negative. Not sure what I can do for her, ultimately, other than keep her company for a while. Perhaps that will be something.
