Dominon and The Leftovers - not really spoilery comments
I'm impressed that after only 2 episodes, this series feels like one much farther into the development of its mythology. This world is very thoroughly realized. It has LAYERS. I particularly like the dialogue, which feels natural as well as sensitive to characterization.
Yup, still watching.
As far as Dominion goes - SO many problems with this (especially regarding female characters, but also, some wacky world-building there, and didn't Widen do this theme first -- and better?) but hoo boy it's hitting some of my kinks HARD. So, yeah, watching that one, too. *is ashamed* *not really*
