L'shana tova to all who are celebrating, and for anyone who wishes it, a blessing of sweetness for the year to come.
1. I am with my mother on the holiday. She seems to be doing okay after her fall last week.
2. I bring with me a chopped up Honeycrisp apple from my baby tree. Baby's first apples! I had to chop it up because no single apple was untouched by one kind of spot or another, but of the good bits, they are Oh So Very Good. We will eat it with honey tonight, for a sweet year.
3. My friend Lisa will be driving up from San Diego tomorrow to stay for a few days. Yay for old friends! We shared a locker in the 7th grade, and her family's phone number was the same ours had been in Delaware, before we moved to L.A. It was fate.
love and kisses,
Devo
