I will be reading about 5 minutes worth of poetry (figure on 3 poems) at a group poetry reading at the Elena Gallegos Double Shelter Amphitheater in Albuquerque on Saturday, August 2nd from 6:45 to about 8:30 p.m. The Elena Gallegos Park is located at the end of Simms Park Road, east of Tramway Boulevard, just north of Academy.
The instructions I got said “you may want bug spray.” There will be a line-up of many other poets. This is being advertised as a “family friendly event,” so kids are welcome. Admission to the event is free except for a $2 parking fee per vehicle.

Katrina K Guarascio, Zachary Kluckma, Benjamin Borman, Julie Brokken , Jesus Lucero , Sara Roman, Akusua Akoto, Merimee Moffit, Georgia Santa Maria , Mary Oishi, Jim Nye, Andi Penner, Mary Dezember, Susan Paquet, Dvorah Simon, Anthony Hunt, and Aaron Trumm
