Tai Chi with the cranes --
Sandhill cranes migrate to New Mexico in the fall from Canada to winter here. It's not exactly balmy here in winter (we do get snow), but apparently, compared to Canada, it's the tropics. *s*
Today was the "Return of the Cranes" festival. I went to one of the events, which featured doing Tai Chi on a patio overlooking a field of cranes. I learned that Tai Chi takes its original inspiration from cranes, so of course we did "crane pose" in our warm-up. They are doing the class again tomorrow in the field across the road from where I live, so I may go do it again.
So sweet.
