Did a sleep study Wednesday night, found out I woke up 17 times PER HOUR. Uh, that means sleep apnea.
I'll do a second study in 2 weeks with a cpap machine. If it makes a difference, well, good.
VERY BONDAGY EXPERIENCE, though sadly, not in the really fun way. Leads all over my head, and around the eyes, face, throat, and legs (to assess for restless leg syndrome, I'm guessing). A belt around the upper chest, and another around the abdomen, measuring breathing. Lots of wires. And oh, a little gizmo IN MY NOSE. I'd suspect the whole "sleep apnea" thing is iatrogenic to the assessment protocol, but we'll see if using the CPAP makes a difference.
If it does... well, good. Would be nice to get a remedy for feeling tired so much of the time. It can also help with hypertension, difficulty losing weight, and auto-immune stuff, all of which I have.
PERCHANCE TO DREAM.
