We met at Escapade in 1998. She visited me in New York City, and wrote ratboy fic. We wrote hide-behind-the-couch Highlander silliness. We wrote Highlander BDSM together -- she wrote the Master bits, and I wrote the slave. Somehow it all worked. We wrote birthday fic (Methos/Krycek) for Sandy C. I went to her wedding in Canada to daemonluna (Best. Wedding. Ever.), and got to see the Canadian Rockies. One year, for my birthday, I asked for a vampire fic. She wrote me a novel. And then four more. I wrote a short (but I like to think, poignant) Methos ficlet for hers. She's been in my corner cheering on my poetry all the way, and beta'd my poetry book.

She's funny, beautiful, snarky, talented, and as loyal and supportive a friend as you could ever wish for.
