Happy birthday to Kady Mae -- recently my traveling and academic-conference-on-the-Whedonverse presenting companion. I first met the divine Miss KM at Escapade lo some 8 years back, if memory serves. She presented a scholarly paper, then, too, on homoerotic subtext on tv. Kady Mae manages to put a lot of different wonderfulnesses in one package -- spunky, fun, enthusiastic, passionate, brilliant, she is also considerate and kind, a great traveling companion, and absolutely true to her word.
