Yanno, this reminds me of Rache's Escapade ficcish show taxonomy -- how angst is generated when there is a break in trust between characters... or something to that effect. :)
ETA: If it was a Highlander ep, it wouldn't just be an *unihabited* solar system. The Jimmy scene it wasn't... *sigh o' nostalgia*
