Did lots of boring bureaucratic stuff today -- following up on Cobra, medical bills, insurance companies, and other assorted agencies of doom. One of them owes me money for services rendered in august, but "lost the file." Twice. So I hauled myself over to Kinkos and faxed the info to them. Again. Hopefully they will be so embarrassed they'll actually cut me a check sometimes before the Messiah gets here.

Working out some delayed stuff re: my father's passing. Night seems devoted to a kind of pre-verbal negotiation between some very old emotional patterns -- old as in multi-generational -- that have to do with a gut-clenching fear of abandonment -- and my intention to find clarity, compassion, and light in all of that. Which means, in a way, teaching my insides not to take things so personally... They do, it seems, have a mind of their own. Minds?
