strangeness
Feeling very liminal right about now. Appropriately enough, the doorknob on the front door is acting up, needs a screw tightened or something, except the movers have packed and taken away all my tools. They were here all day, four young, sweet Isreali men, 2 of whom are in a heavy metal band (they played me their CD, and it wasn't bad -- kind of Metalica-ish).
So I'm here tonight with my walls, packed suitcases, couch and futon I'm going to ditch, and my laptop. None of the usual navigation of *things*, just me and walls and floors... and a lot of dust and debris that I'm too tired to clean up tonight.
Tomorrow: call the phone and power companies. Cable is already shut off, tv gone, of course.
It's quiet.
